Try a Boat weekend – Dartmouth – come and see us and go for a free sail taster!
We are pleased to say that we will be attending the annual Try a Boat weekend again this year. After doing this weekend for the past 5 years we will be taking RumRunner round to Dartmouth for South Devon Marine’s annual boat show for the second year with Brixham Sea school.
If you are in Dartmouth on the weekend of spring bank holiday Saturday the 28th and Sunday the 29th come and say hello, Steve and I will be on the embankment with our gazebo and on the water with RumRunner. It is a weekend for those of you who have not tried sailing before, we will take you out of the river and sail you around a short triangular course and bring you back in…….
Lets hope for good weather and a nice breeze……
Hope to see you there

Coming to a PC near you……. online theory courses!
In the very near future we will be able to offer the following RYA theory courses online:
RYA Day Skipper theory
RYA Coastal/Yachtmaster theory
RYA Yachtmaster Ocean theory
These courses can be done by you in the comfort of your own home or in your office (during break times of course!) They come with all the materials you require to complete the course and our online support. Some of the courses will require you to attend the school for your examination but you could tie that in with a weekend break to Devon and perhaps a day sail on one of our yachts.
We will add the relevant pages to the website when we have set up these courses.
If you need any more details please contact us to discuss or drop us an email at info@brixhamseaschool.com
Cheers

The end of a busy month here at the school…..
Steve and I have just finished our busiest month yet, thank you all for booking with us, and congratulations to everyone who took one of our courses.
There was Mary, Linda and Andy with Steve on Zig Zag for a five day course, followed by Neil, Paul and Andy doing a combined Day Skipper with Steve. I was out with Jon and Mark over a split weekend course, Hugh and Gina for a five day course and David and Gareth for a further five day course………… So that totalled 12 new skippers on the water. Well done to you all!
A brief respite now for a few days and then we are off again.
If you would like to experience sailing then please give us a call as we offer from Day sails to full 9 day courses.
