RYA Powerboat Level 1

This course has been designed as an introduction to Powerboating. It covers basic techniques for launching and recovery of a boat from a road trailer, boat safety and the use of safety equipment and everyday boat handling skills to a basic level, for example picking up and securing to a mooring bouy, leaving and coming alongside and being towed.

 Your course will be run in the lovely sheltered waters of Torbay.

The minimum age for this course is 8 years old (under 16's will be issued with an endorsed certificate).  Children under 16 only when accompanied by parent or guardian also undertaking the course.

An RYA Powerboating scheme logbook is available for purchase separately.
