Mediterranean Experience

Exclusive 2 centre training for 2012. Mediterranean and UK waters

Question. What can be better than learning to sail with an RYA recognised training centre?
Answer. Learning to sail with, not one but two RYA recognised training centres.

Question. How can this be better and why would I benefit from 2 centre training.
Answer. We know from experience, that what makes a good skipper is being able to control a boat and manage a crew in different situations and varying conditions.

Med SailingOur 2 centre offer gives you the opportunity to develop your sailing and skippering skills on different boats and in different locations, maximising your learning experience.

Question. Where does the two centre training take place and Why?
Answer. The instructors of both HERCULES SAILING  based in Gibraltar and BRIXHAM SEA SCHOOL based in Torbay, Devon. Are both well experienced in both of the operating locations.

They each recognise the unique challenges and benefits that the two respective locations have to offer. By sailing in the different climate of the warmer tidal waters around Gibraltar and the more demanding yet scenic delights of the waters in the South West of England.

Temperatures, in Gibraltar, are usually far better than the UK so you can enjoy challenging weather patterns with fewer layers of clothing. Sail to another continent across one of the busiest waterways in the world and even get a taste of the ‘old style’ Morocco. Whilst the scenic coastline of Devon with its small bays and river estuary’s will both challenge and reward even the most confident of sailors.

We guarantee no saloon berths for students, a maximum pupil ratio of three to one (unless a couple sharing to make four). So you get more quality time either on the helm, or navigating. Under the careful supervision of fully qualified RYA Instructors.

THE DIFINITIVE WAY to obtain your RYA qualifications. From Competent Crew to Yachtmaster Coastal Skipper Certificate of Competence.

This experience is designed over two weeks at £595 per person per week. However you will receive a £50 voucher for the second week upon completion of your first weeks training.
